YOU LEARN TO SPEAK BETTER FRENCH (of course) IN FRANCE!
Do you already have a basic knowledge of the French language and would you like to feel more confident in having conversations about everyday topics? Want to learn more about French culture 'en passant', in a beautiful location? Then this course is really something for you!​

Immerse yourself and enjoy! You will be taught by an expert teacher who will help you gain confidence as you immerse yourself in French.
In summer you can literally immerse yourself in the swimming pool of your residence: Château du Pommoy
The program
Day 1:
Travel day. You travel on your own* to Roussillon- en-Morvan, where in the evening you'll meet the other students and the teacher while enjoying a delicious aperitif and dinner.
Day 2 to 6:
Lessons from a qualified teacher, from 10-12 and from 14-16 o'clock. Every day there is plenty of time to relax in and around the house, let the course sink in or explore the area further. And we enjoy meals prepared with attention!
Day 7: Travel day. After an extensive breakfast buffet, it is time to start the return journey.
The teacher is French

Naturally, you learn French best from a French-speaking teacher . The course is taught by Christelle Seguenot. She graduated from the University of Besançon on with a specialization in French as a Foreign Language and worked for many years at “Alliances Françaises” in different countries (Central Europe, Russia, Madagascar).
The course is a real immersion in the French language, intensive in a very enjoyable way. This means that French is spoken continuously during class hours.
Christelle Seguenot herself says about this:

“I have been a French teacher for years and adapt to all linguistic requirements: from beginners to advanced. You will participate in a 20-hour program per week, consisting of conversation lessons and educational outings.
The courses are mainly based on comprehension and oral expression. I use a wide variety of media and work on phonetics to facilitate learning and using the language.
The best way to learn is to have a conversation, with me and the people we meet together.”
Course level
​
The level of this course is intermediate. To guarantee a smooth course, it is important that the students have approximately the same level. The teacher will have a short conversation with you in advance (online or by telephone ) so that you can be sure that the course is suitable for you.

Stay for six nights at Château du Pommoy, in the middle of the Le Morvan regional nature park in Burgundian France

Château du Pommoy:
peace, nature and culture
A stately, white building emerges from the green landscape of the French Morvan. You will find the comfortably furnished château in the middle of nature. Enjoy your large room or suite with an excellent bed and private bathroom, read a good book in the large lounge, stroll through the garden, play the piano or take a refreshing dip in the pool.
You can take beautiful walking and cycling trips directly from the château. There is a lot to see in the immediate area, but you can also make countless excursions by car. For example, visit the Gallo-Roman settlement of Bibracte on Mont Beuvray (in good weather you can see the Mont Blanc massif!). The pleasant city of Autun with its cathedral, museums, Roman theater and many terraces is just a 20-minute drive away.

This course takes place with a minimum of 5 participants. The maximum group size is 14 people. You will hear no later than July 1 whether the course can continue. If there are enough participants, the trip will be confirmed to you immediately.

Price €1,400 pp, for 1 participant in a large private room with private bathroom
Or € 1,250 pp, for 2 participants in a shared room (booked together).
Would you like to come with more people at the same time? Then the group will be complete faster. If there are enough participants, we can agree on another date with you.
